aBOUT Lake Roosevelt Suites

The Lake Roosevelt Suites are located within a historical former cement factory that has since been modified into a unique home space.

As a guest you will be offered access to our common areas such as the kitchen, outdoor patios, and hot tub. Of course you’re also encouraged to go for a stroll in the yard, which spreads over four acres of land. If you’re feeling adventurous you can walk out to the lake just another 50 yards away, or go for a mountain hike and catch a stunning sunset.

It is not uncommon to see as many as four river otters swimming in the pond. With the yard lights on all night there is a good chance of seeing deer, coyotes and bear in the area.

THE PROPERTY

Lake Roosevelt Suites sits majestically alongside the spectacular and dramatic Columbia River on four lakefront acres. This spacious historical former concrete factory offers exquisitely pampering lake view guest rooms. Guests enjoy access to the community hot tub and full kitchen in the downstairs part of the house.

You can always wander out onto the huge back deck and enjoy breathtaking views of the lake, the forest and wildlife, and the beautifully manicured property including a fish and turtle encumbered pond. Since Lake Roosevelt Suites is nestled alongside Lake Roosevelt National Park, you can enjoy 150 miles of public beach and lakeshore access. The suites will lead you to fairy-tale adventures whether you choose to make your way into the nearby surrounding mountains or lakes.

THINGS TO DO

Lake Roosevelt

If the lake is your calling then you have come to the right place! Located less than half a mile from the suites is Evans Campground on Lake Roosevelt. The campground has a safe swimming area and playgrounds for kids.

The park also features a public boat launch providing easy access to get out on the lake.

Head North to Canada

Take a trip up to Canada and visit the beautiful town of Rossland . Be sure to swing by Red Mountain Ski Resort as well

Hunting

The area around the suites is perfect for hunting. With tons of public land access, with ample deer, elk, and turkey, it’s a hunters paradise.

Take a Hike

If hiking is more your thing, be sure to check out Sherman Pass. The  Kettle Crest Trail  and  Sherman Peak Loop are a couple of our favorites

Fishing

Kettle Falls hosts the Governors Cup walleye fishing tournament every year. If that isn’t an indication of great fishing I don’t know what is. There are many lakes in rivers in the area such as the Kettle River or Lake Ellen.
